In 1977, the superstar Kinks kicked off an incredible musical journey with their first studio effort for the Arista label with their masterwork “Sleepwalker”. For this hit release, Ray Davies, Dave Davies and Co. expanded their working man’s rock sound into a unique brand of album oriented rock and storytelling like no other.

With nine solid new rockers like “Juke Box Music” and more hit radio tracks like “Sleepwalker” and “Life On The Road”, the entire album has been an enduring masterwork, further cultivating their iconic stature with renewed recording sales, concert attendance and radio play, as they would soon enter into their arena rock phase throughout the rest of their long career.

Filled with even more fan favorites like “Life Goes On” and “Mr. Big Man”, The Kinks truly delivered one of the most important albums of the classic rock era with the brilliant Sleepwalker.
