Jazz without the cool but sensual singing of Diana Krall just wouldn't sound the same. Her pre-bop piano style and fortuitously photogenic looks combined to storm the jazz world in the late 1990s.

As part of Verve Records' ongoing 60th anniversary celebration, Verve/United Music Enterprises is proud to announce the release of eight essential Diana Krall albums in 180 gram, 2 LP vinyl reissues. The renowned pianist and vocalist has called Verve home for the vast majority of her illustrious career, and these new versions of her recordings originally released between 1996 and 2009 showcase many of her finest moments in lustrous vinyl format.

Krall's 2009 album Quiet Nights, her 10th release, is highlighted by Grammy Award-nominated arrangements from frequent collaborator Claus Ogerman. Quiet Nights is Krall's first full album devoted to the swaying styling of Bossa Nova. Classic Bossa Nova tracks are paired with reinterpretations of a classic Burt Bacharach/Hal David track as well as a Bee Gees song. If any music could be called accessible it's this, with its warm intimacy and classic good taste.
