The box office smash featured some of the biggest songs of that year with John Parr’s #1 smash hit single St. Elmo’s Fire as well as 9 more champions like the #1 Love Theme From St. Elmo’s Fire by David Foster. Superstars like Jon Anderson (YES) also contributed to the hit soundtrack with tunes like This Time It Really Was Right, Billy Squier with the rock anthem Shake Down and Elefante’s (John Elefante formerly with Kansas) power ballad Young and Innocent.
