In 1971, BS&T’s lead vocalist David Clayton-Thomas and the Grammy Award winning era line-up of the superstar outfit entered into the studio for their final smash recording sessions. Armed with a plethora of great new songs, they continued their hit streak with another Top 10 chart hit album B, S & T 4.
Featuring great hit singles and top album tracks, the masterpiece had enough traction to be called a greatest hits album in its own right. To get things started, B, S & T 4 included the hard rockin’ smash "Go Down Gamblin’" and the top 40 classic Lisa Listen to Me. As always, you can count on the legendary Steve Katz to bring home a power hit or two, especially with his masterwork "Valentine’s Day" and his classic "Mama Gets High."
