Direct to disc recording by two drum legends sure to test the quality of any audio equipment. Keltner is the studio drummer supreme having played with "everybody" including George Harrison, John Lennon and being the regular drummer in The Traveling Wilburys. Ron Tutt was long-time drummer for The King, Elvis Presley !

This is an original Sheffield Lab Direct-to-Disk, Limited Edition Audiophile Pressing. Sheffield are the pioneers of Direct-To-Disc recording and had much to do with the advent of the "audiophile" label put on recordings that exemplify top standards in recording, mastering and pressing. Long out of print, these original Sheffields are considered to be some of the finest recordings ever produced.

This album was recorded with all tube electronics designed and built by Sheffield Lab. As on all of their classical albums, a single-point stereo microphone was employed to achieve a natural acoustic perspective. Recorded in 1981 and released in 1983, this album was produced by Lincoln Mayorga and Doug Sax with Bill Schnee.
