Recorded in 1966 for the Verve Folkways label, Lightnin' Strikes may not have the notoriety as some of Hopkins' other albums, but this set backed by Jimmy Bond (bass), Earl Palmer (drums) and Don Crawford (harmonica) is classic Lightnin'.
